We are passionate about drama and that students get the chance to develop performance skills.
We have various productions throughout the year and plan to develop this further in the future.
Students take most of their drama lessons in the drama studio which is well equipped with practice staging, lights, costumes etc.
Sometimes students work on the large stage in the main hall.
The drama studio is next to music as many of our productions involve music as well. Our students also get the chance to watch other performances (such as School of Rock where they had a backstage tour) in order to improve their own practice.
We offer GCSE Drama as part of the option process and there are opportunities to get involved outside of that time too.
