Pupil Premium spending

Since September 2012, schools and academies have been required to report on how Pupil Premium Funds have been allocated and the impact that this allocation has on the education attainment of the targeted pupils.  Pupil Premium funds are allocated to all pupils in receipt of free school meals and all children who are looked-after children (i.e. foster placements or local authority care).

We are committed to the attainment and achievement of all pupils. However we recognise that some pupils are potentially more vulnerable than others and for this reason we are keen that the additional funds that we have been allocated are used strategically and proactively to narrow any gaps in achievement that may exist.

The Pupil Premium Policy details how the funding will be used to support pupils.

If you are a parent or carer of a student who you feel is vulnerable and who would benefit from additional support, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can ensure appropriate intervention is in place.
