The PE department have accepted an invitation from Youth Sports Trust to become a hub alliance for the Secondary Schools Teacher Training scheme. This will see Iceni Academy project manage an alliance of schools from across the county. Funded by Sport England, the scheme is designed to enable schools to determine areas of new and exciting PE & health provision, provide adequate training for staff who will deliver to targeted pupils across their school. Iceni are keen to develop provision that supports the new PSHE curriculum and mental wellbeing for students during these challenging times.
