Remembrance Day 2020

Today in the academy, students who are affiliated with cadet organisations wore their uniforms in an act of remembrance.  At 11am, the whole school fell silent as we remembered all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for us.  Students learned about Armistice Day in their Tutor groups, with the help of a remote assembly led by Mr. Bedford, our Director of Faculty for Humanities.  He also spoke of the experiences of his Grandfather during the Second World War, which made us all appreciate how much was endured by so many.  Thank you, Mr. Bedford.
